Your data
Delete your account
How to remove your Fan Club Pro account and the data attached to it.
Fan Club Pro is operated by Fan Club Pro, Inc. You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app or on the web. You do not need to contact us first.
Delete from the mobile app
- Open the Fan Club Pro app and sign in.
- Go to your account screen.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Delete on the web
- Sign in at fanclubpro.com/login.
- Fans: open your account page. Artists: open Settings from the dashboard.
- Find Delete account and confirm.
Or ask us to do it
Email privacy@fanclubpro.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you. We answer these within 30 days.
What is deleted
Fans. Your account is deactivated straight away and you are signed out everywhere. Any paid membership is cancelled at that moment, so you are not billed again. After the restore window below closes we permanently delete or de-identify the personal information attached to your account, including:
- your name, email address and profile photo;
- your phone number and shipping address, if you gave us one for a prize;
- your membership records and club memberships;
- your posts, comments, chat messages and uploaded photos or videos;
- your saved preferences and any push-notification tokens for your devices.
Artists. Deleting a club, or your whole account, is only possible once the club has no live paid memberships. Members who are still paying are owed what they paid for, so you wind them down first with Cancel all memberships in the club's Settings: every membership ends at the close of its current billing period, each member is emailed once with that date, nobody is charged again, and you can undo it until those dates. Complimentary and free members never block a deletion. When you then delete, the club goes offline immediately and everything is kept for 30 days: members, content, media and billing history. No member is cancelled or emailed by the deletion itself. After 30 days the club's content, media and member records are permanently deleted.
The 30-day restore window
Deletion is not instant on purpose. For 30 days your account is deactivated but recoverable: signing back in during that window cancels the deletion and restores your account. For an artist account that restore is complete: every club comes back exactly as it was, with its members, content and billing in place. If you do nothing, the data is purged when the 30 days are up. If you want it gone immediately rather than at the end of the window, email privacy@fanclubpro.com and say so.
What we keep, and for how long
- Records we are legally required to keep, such as transaction and tax records for payments you made or received, for as long as the law requires. When a club or artist account is purged, its billing records (subscriptions, prices, payment identifiers and the email address each payment belongs to) are archived to private, access-controlled storage and kept for 7 years. Nothing else about the club is retained.
- A minimal record of the deletion itself, so that the request is auditable and cannot be quietly reversed.
- Abuse and safety records, where retaining them is necessary to prevent fraud or to comply with child-safety reporting obligations.
- Backups, which are cycled on a rolling schedule and overwritten in the ordinary course rather than edited in place.
Payments are processed by Stripe, not by us, and Stripe keeps its own transaction records under its own retention rules.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove things:
- delete any post, comment or chat message you wrote, from the app or the web;
- leave a club, which ends that membership and removes you from its member list;
- remove your profile photo or clear your shipping address in your account settings;
- or email privacy@fanclubpro.com to ask for specific data to be removed.
